May 23, 2021Here at Jackson Hole Shooting Experience, we have some incredible people working as our coaches. We want you to get to know each one! Today, meet the Jackson Hole Shooting Experience Experts: Tony Molina.
Tony is from a small town in Northern California called Nice. His Dad, being a collector and enthusiast of firearms, passed on his love of firearms to Tony when Tony was very young. Tony quickly grew to become very passionate about firearms, hunting and recreational shooting often with his Dad. His interests in firearms and other outdoor activities led Tony to Wyoming three years ago to continue pursuing his interests.
About a year ago, Tony participated in the Wyoming Top 100 Shooters competition where he met Kiefer, another instructor for the Jackson Hole Shooting Experience. During one of their conversations, Tony asked Kiefer what he did for a job. Tony was so excited to hear about an opportunity to work with firearms, that he called the Shooting Experience office the next day. Tim, another coach, liked what he heard and took Tony under his wing. Tony quickly learned all about Jackson Hole Shooting Experience and is now one of our Senior Leads for the experiences that we offer.
Tony works part time with Jackson Hole Shooting Experience and the other half at a resort in town. The resort allows him to be close to great snowboarding hills, which is another one of his passions. Tony also enjoys working outdoors.
One unique fact about Tony is that he teaches parkour. If you have ever dreamed about being a pro at parkour, Tony is your guy! Tony enjoys training and putting himself to the test through obstacle courses. This guy is definitely tougher than American Ninja Warriors, at least according to Tony Molina. He also really likes rock climbing and bouldering. Needless to say, Tony is one very active guy! Tony hopes to one day create a video that merges the world of parkour and firearms. I think I speak for us all when I say that I REALLY want to see that video!
I asked Tony why he teaches: “Coaching firearms use and parkour are extremely important to me because I feel like I am making an impact on my community and future generations. I’ve always loved teaching people who have never shot before and getting them excited about the cool world of firearms. ” This guy is definitely a phenomenal representation of the great spirit found at Jackson Hole Shooting Experience.
