Rev. David Bott has over 50 years of shooting experience in target and hunting environments. Being born and reared in Texas, shooting came early into David’s life via Boy Scout summer camp. Hunting game birds, small game and eventually whitetail deer became the focus of David’s shooting.
For his 21st birthday, he bought himself his first center-fire pistol and began pistol shooting. He has continued shooting throughout his life. David’s perspective: “shooting is a great sport for individual or whole family enjoyment.” He completed a 2021 military medic 2-day gunshot trauma workshop.
He loves teaching this sport to anyone who has an interest. David’s youngest student is his own grandson (beginning at age three). His most senior student thus far, an 81-year young grandmother.
