I purchased a new target hit indicator, and there are a few problems that I am facing. I tought I would add them to a FAQ page to hopefully help you!
Will it arrive within the 4-month timeframe promised?
Mine did not. It was about a month late.
WiFi Connection Issues
There are instructions to connect via WiFi to 192.168.100.1. For my phone, a Google Pixel 6, this was not the case. I wasted a bunch of time trying to connect (I have Starlink which is also 192.168.100.1). Finally, a notification popped up on my phone that allowed me to connect.
As it turns out, you can only access records of shots if the Access Point is turned on. So, don’t think that you can put your gear away in your shop and go inside and review things or set up the app.
The App (I am not sure if it is an “app”)
This product is made for paper shooters, not steel shooters. Thus far, I have seen many options for various targets that are pre-saved, but they are all NRA Palma kind of stuff. I think there is probably a setting for knowing if a shot landed “1.75 MOA low left at 4-o’clock.” I have not been able to find it yet.
