Jackson Hole Summer 2020 Updates
We have enjoyed using the JHGC shooting range in Jackson Hole for many years, it is a wonderful facility! In March 2020, the JHGC temporarily closed in response to local and state government orders. We are working with them to develop solutions that address safety needs. The ultimate decision will be the JHGC Board of Directors. Meanwhile, we are looking for alternatives to help you get out shooting with us!
As we develop protocols for summer operations, we will likely need to alter our experiences from their descriptions on our website to meet local state and federal orders. Obviously, you and I and others each have our own opinions about risk preferences and whether risk should be decided by the governments or individuals, however regardless of worldviews, we will need to obey government’s orders to avoid punishment. We appreciate the overwhelming response encouraging us to open up, and we hope to do so soon!
We want to make sure that you are comfortable and do not feel unsafe. Please be in touch with us about any possible concerns you have. If you are in a high-risk category, we suggest even deeper contemplation. If you are coughing, have a fever, or any other signs of flu or virus, we ask that you wait to shoot until you feel better.
We promise to make things very safe and to respect YOU to make decisions as much as orders allow.
