We had an amazing experience. Tim was a great instructor. We shot rifles and handguns. My wife hit the 500 yard target and it was her first time ever shooting. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to try it for the first time, to someone looking to gain more experience or shoot weapons you can’t usually try (like a .50 cal). Will definitely go back next time I’m in Jackson Hole.
We took our family (with 2 young children) to JH Shooting Experience.
Josh spent 2 days (3 hours per day) with our son. Josh is a delightful and patient individual, who transferred a wealth of knowledge to a young man, who walked away, with newly found skills, respect for weapons and ‘can do’ confidence. We couldn’t have hoped for anyone better, to spend time with our young man.
Josh also spent time, on our first day, with our daughter. Giving her the enthusiasm, to return for another day.
Tim joined us, on our second day, and spent 3 hours with our daughter (while Josh was with our son). Tim was a perfect match for her. Informative and practical, to give her the extra depth of understanding and respect for the variety of weapons, she had the opportunity to shoot. He was patient, and positive, while he worked on her form and technique.
Both children are extremely grateful for the opportunity to have such an amazing experience (in a safe environment).

My second visit, and it keeps getting better with Andy, who is a wonderful instructor; thorough, patient, & safety focused ALWAYS. He instructed on clays, as this was my first time- fantastic experience.
Scott gave a great rifle review, and was just wonderful as he coached precision shooting. Love the variety of practice implements, too.
By far the most exciting outing we have had since we arrived in Jackson. Our Instructor Thomas was informative, knowledgeable and was able to guide us through approx 20 different pistols, rifles, semi-automatic and automatic machine guns throughout our 3 hour class. Our last shot was with a .50 caliber Bushmaster!! I really recommend this for anyone who wants to either learn how to shoot or sharpen their skills with an array of fine weapons. Thomas made sure to provide necessary safety training and kept an incredibly close eye on us to ensure we were safe. I would really recommend this outing for a family or a small group. It is unique, exciting and led by staff that are experts in their field.
