Suggested Shooting Range Dress Code

Our Multi-Gun shooting area is outdoors with a roof over our heads.

Recommended clothing for warmer weather experiences:

  • Please dress for the weather, it will be a bit cooler than you think.
  • When semi-auto guns are fired, they eject brass cases that are quite hot.
    • NO low cut blouses
    • Ball cap is recommended, hot brass between your glasses and cheek hurts!
    • Closed-toe shoes are important, a hot brass case between the toes is painful!

      • Be more like Forest Gump, not Magnum PI, hot brass down the shirt hurts!

We will provide impact resistant glasses; if you decline and wear your own prescription glasses or sunglasses, you are assuming this risk of hot brass or other fragments. We also have “over-your-glasses” safety glasses available.

Recommended clothing for colder weather experiences:

  • Layering is wise, when it is below freezing, most coaches wear at least 2 pairs of socks and warm winter boots.
  • We will provide impact resistant glasses; if you decline and wear your own prescription glasses or sunglasses, you are assuming this risk of hot brass or other fragments. We also have “over-your-glasses” safety glasses available.
  • 80% of our guests in the winter wish they had worn warmer footwear.
