Wyoming Catholic College Firearms Class 2020
Some people have not had a lot of exposure to firearms. We teach how to safely and efficiently use firearms, making you a more responsible and accurate gun owner. This college firearms class is good for beginning or intermediate level shooters.
This class is for WCC students seeking a state-issued permit allowing the holder of the permit to keep and bear arms in a concealed manner. Wyoming government rules require “proof of firearms familiarization.”
People seeking a Wyoming Concealed Firearms permit have very minimal State requirements for proof of firearms familiarization. We provide greater value by teaching more than just the basics of firearms familiarization. We also teach about legal aspects, ethical & moral aspects, situational awareness, prevention and defensive tactics.
We provide live-fire instruction to help you be more confident and improve your skills. This class will help you decide if you want the responsibility of using protective tools, and will empower you to make peaceful choices, using violent defense only as a last resort.
This Wyoming Concealed Carry class meets Wyoming State Statute’s requirements for a Concealed Carry permit. It is designed to build a foundation from which students can properly hone their skills in order to better protect themselves and their families from knife violence, gun violence and other forms of initiated violence.
This is NOT an NRA class, but is taught by NRA Certified Instructors as required by Wyoming law.

I don’t have a gun.
No worries, we will bring plenty of loaner guns for you to use!
Will I get a permit at the end of class?
No. Only the government is able to give you a permit. Each county is slightly different, however the process in Teton County is described HERE.
I am not a Wyoming resident, will this class work for my state?
The class is taught by NRA certified instructors, but is NOT an NRA class. It is accepted in Wyoming and some other states, however please check with YOUR state government to see what their requirements are.
