Jackson Hole Shooting Experience 
This experience industry company has the only truly PRIVATE instruction out of these businesses. If you are looking for one on one time with a Coach, this is the place for you. The Nomad Rifleman Experience includes being out in the great Wyoming desert for a full day, complete with dutch oven cooking and world-renowned instructors on Long-Range Rifle Shooting. This experience also boasts the possibility of hitting targets as far as one mile away! This company also offers week long training out at an Idaho Ranch where you can lodge in style and become the best of the best at the Long-Range Rifle.
Long Gun Training
This great academy lies in Tennessee but also hosts classes in New York. These classes are normally two-day long classes that can include camping out or simply lodging overnight. Dinner is provided the first night for all attendees in the class. Training and shooting is held on ranges each day. There are one-day classes available if you don’t have the time for two full days. Long Gun Training also offers private lessons for up to three students out on their ranges.
Precision Rifle Training Shooting Complex
This training facility includes the lodging into your original price. They own their own bunkhouses on site, complete with amenities such as cable and WiFi to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Their state-of-the-art facility also includes an impressive range with all of your long-range precision needs. This academy is also prepared to train military, law enforcement as well as civilian marksman.
Crosswind Precision Marksmanship Academy
Crosswind is a simple training academy but one of the better ones if you aren’t looking for anything intense. They have phenomenal coaches and take you out into the dessert to put you in real life scenarios. They offer women’s only classes as well. Pay attention to what you need to bring as they don’t provide food, lodging, ammo or guns. You can rent one of the guns they have for their classes, but you still need to be prepared with your own ammo. These guys do have great coaches, training and tips, making it worth the price. This Academy is located in Western Colorado and mainly caters to military personnel and law enforcement.
Thompson Long Range Rifle
This course is similar to the others in that it is a two-day training. This academy is located in Logan, Utah and will provide the food and lodging. They guarantee a 1000 yard shot and if you don’t get one, they give you your money back. What is unique about this academy is that at the beginning of your experience, you build your own rifle which you can then buy at the end of your experience. This helps you not only understand the mechanics of the gun but also give you the best gun for your taste and style. They do not accept bringing out your own personal guns to shoot however.
