Let’s share DOPE for 1,000 yards and beyond! (Data Observed from Previous Engagements) This post is ONLY for stock RPR rifles shooting factory Hornady 140 ELD-Match ammo. Why? Because most folks that shoot long range that buy factory use this ammo. 🙂 We will skip lateral, an will
only focus on drop. We assume the following: 140g bullet, G7 of .308, …
If you would like to contribute your actual observed data, please send at email to this address with your info in the following easy format:
- First name, Last Initial and Date
- Distance in yards of target hit & Angle of fire if more than 3 degrees
- Specify how many MILs or MOA up from 100 yard zero
- City, State
- Elevation in feet above sea level
- Ammo temp, ambient temp
- If you measured, Specify Density Altitude, pressure or whatever system you use
- Optional whatever else you briefly want to mention
I will then cut and past it under the appropriate distance.
