“Shepard was our instructor and he was amazing! I learned more in 3 hrs with him than all my other experiences shooting combined. Plus he was funny and patient. Everyone in our group joined the 500 yard club and received cool momentos from our time there. I couldn’t have asked for a better day in Jackson Hole and I highly suggest shooting the BMG 50 cal! It’s a once in a lifetime experience! Enjoy and thanks again Shepard! ”

“I just spent a couple of hours getting a private lesson from Lynn Sherwood, the owner of JH Shooting Experience. What an amazing instructor! I first shot a .22 pistol to develop accuracy and confidence, then a 9mm (which has more recoil) and finally a .45. By the time we finished I was able to shoot a small target at 22 yards with the .45! She was so encouraging, and so effective. And it was so much fun! This is the third time I have taken a class with JHSE and each time has been great. I would strongly recommend these guys.”

“Everyone needs to take a day off and try this. It was my husband’s dream and a lot of fun for myself as well. As we pulled into the parking lot, Shepard came right out and greeted us. Once in the shooting range area, safety is taken very seriously and all precautions taken. We tried at least 12 guns- incl. rifles, shot guns, hand guns, AK-47, machine gun. It was a blast (pun intended)! Not only was Shepard fun, great sense of humor, he is extremely knowledgeable about all aspect of guns, uses, interesting facts and sport of target shooting as well as hunting. Shepard is a wonderful teacher for all levels. Several other women were there as well, everyone seemed to really enjoy it. I highly rec this for all men and women. Can’t wait to come back next year!! If you do go in the winter, early spring, wear warm boots.”
