This 6-hour class is designed to meet each student at their current knowledge and skill level, and to take them higher!  Fun things to do in Jackson Hole in April are hard to find, but this “Long Range Rifle Central Wyoming College” class will be great fun!  Regardless of your rifle and scope system, this long range shooting school aims to help you exceed your expectations.  While the range we are using only has targets out to 600 yards, we will refine your skills to make further distances understandable and possible.

Each student will be given a long range shooting booklet that can be used in class and as a reference later.  Plan to do some math and if you have a laptop – bring it.  If you have a smart phone – bring it.

EQUIPMENT LIST:  (If you need some or all of the listed gear, you may use ours for free and buy ammo from us)

• .223 PMC Bronze 55g $1/shot
• .308 Federal Gold Match 175g 7.62×51 (or 168g) and 6.5 Creedmoor 140g ELD match $2/shot
• 7mm rem mag, & 300 WM $2/shot

(Please do not buy anything for this class, wait and use our stuff … perhaps we can help guide you toward a better purchase)  If you have it, please bring:

• Rifle with scope that allows for at least 15 MOA upward adjustment (If this sound like gibberish – no problem, we will go over it in class)
• Spotting scope
• At least 100 rounds of ammunition for your rifle (If you are using our shooting school rifles, you may buy from us or bring the ammunition listed above)
• Weather appropriate clothing, suitable for laying on the dirty and maybe wet ground.
• Shooting mat
• Rear squeeze bag  (DIY) (Do It Yourself)
• Ear and eye protection – or use ours
• Water & and a sack lunch.

Again, we have everything you will need that you are welcome to use, we strongly suggest that you don’t buy something for the class that you will later wish you hadn’t.  🙂  

Once you register with CWC, Jackson Hole Shooting Experience will send you a questionnaire so that we can better prepare to meet your needs.

Refunds are issued up to five business days prior to the beginning of the course. Jackson Hole Outdoor Leadership Institute (JHOLI) classes are refunded up to 10 business days prior to the beginning of the course.

This rifle shooting class may be canceled due to low enrollment or instructor conflicts, illness, etc.  In these cases, tuition and fees will be refunded.
