National Park
The Grand Teton National Park is best seen in late spring. During the winter, the park closes many roads and sightseeing is limited, but as May approaches, the roads open up and the adventure begins! As you enter the park through the tiny town of Moose, make sure to check out the Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center for maps, permit information, exquisite exhibits, and guides talks. They also have trip planning information, or mosey around yourself! You may find yourself off the beaten path and a part of something beautiful. Make sure to bring your camera, as this park is home to magnificent wildlife coming out of hibernation, as well as beautiful lakes and scenic pull-outs to capture the family fun!

Since 1957, the Jackson Hole Shoot Out is the longest running gun fight show in the country! With spectacular acting and sound effects, you’ll feel like you’re back in the Old West, a one-of-a-kind experience. Check it out in the Town Square, and head over to the Cowboy Bar for a bite and a beer after!
Bar J Chuckwagon – Late May
Fun for the whole family! Ask any local where they take their visiting friends and families, and this is the place. Open late May, after Memorial day, the Bar J is a fun filled cowboy experience you won’t forget! Song and dance, comedy, and great old timey trail ride food makes this the best way to spend an evening with your family. Prepare to laugh!
